On June 23rd, in response to a national outcry for equity for people of color, CLS drafted and approved an official statement to make clear that our organization advocates for equity and equality, regardless of race, creed, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability.

Approximately 350,000 Michigan families will have access to additional food assistance benefits as a response to the COVID-19 outbreak and about 27,000 individuals will be temporarily exempt from federal work requirements
