Standard State training or an approved alternative is required for personal assistance staff. Within the first 30 days of employment, new personal assistants must have Rights Training, First Aid, and current CPR and First Aid certification. Individuals supported by CLS who live in their own home, along with their support circle, will identify the training needs of their personal assistants.
